I'm an American novelist and journalist living in London and the author of a dozen non-fiction tech books which are published by Pearson and Apress.

Of the films I've written and directed, one comedy aired on PBS, while some of my other films for
The Art Institute of Chicago brought the world of art to life for children. My screenplays have been optioned by Disney and my journalism has been published in several film industry publications, including Screen.

After discovering many of Hollywood’s dirty little secrets while working for 20th Century Fox, I left and spent five years with Apple as a consultant. Since then, I've moved to Europe and written my first novel (based on those dirty little Hollywood secrets).

Currently, I'm a staff writer for Aol's popular tech news site
TUAW, where I interview tech CEOs and regularly write about all things Mac, iPhone, and iPad. I'm also a contributing writer to the online men's lifestyle magazine, Asylum.

Combined, my writings are read by over a million people each month.

A little bit about me.
